What people are saying about Dr. Zunick

Ball State University had the pleasure of having Thea on our campus to speak with our Panhellenic Association! With all the challenges that our students can face, we wanted to focus on reminding our students about taking care of themselves and finding the joy in their daily lives. Thea did a fantastic job of engaging our students in a way that was both inspiring and relevant to our current times. Since the event, our Panhellenic Community has placed a strong emphasis on creating programming that allows us to hold our members accountable in the area of well-being. We can’t thank Thea enough for the impact she had on our campus!

— Zachariah Brumfield, M.A. (He/Him/His), Associate Director of Student Life, Fraternity & Sorority Life, Ball State University

It was so wonderful to have Thea speak with IFC leaders about how to use their emotional intelligence to resolve conflict, build stronger brotherhood, and become more empathic leaders. She was able to design a program where students could self-evaluate as they went along and practice real-life conflict resolution skills with each other. I look forward to seeing them put the skills she taught into practice in our chapters and community!

— Amanda Eisele, Director of Fraternity and Sorority Life, Coastal Carolina University

I had the pleasure of co-presenting with Dr. Thea Zunick at the 2019 NASPA National Conference. Throughout the process, she was highly engaged, shared her expertise, and greatly enhanced our collective work through her contributions. She was focused, flexible, and a generous collaborator to her co-presenters. I was very impressed by her ability to quickly adapt to unforeseen challenges and carry it off seamlessly. She is a vibrant and incisive presenter, connecting with her audience, and commanding the room. I would collaborate with her again in an instant and look forward to an opportunity to bring her to my campus as a consultant and speaker. She is sure to exceed expectations.

— Ana M. Rossetti, Deputy Director at The Aspen Institute

I am delighted to write this recommendation for Dr. Thea Zunick. Dr. Zunick and I became acquainted in 2013, while serving in a leadership role on the NASPA (National Association for Student Personnel Administrators) Region II Advisory Board. Since then, we have had the opportunity to partner on regional projects, such as working collaboratively on conducting assessment for the NASPA Region II Strategic Initiatives Plan. Dr. Zunick’s competency in assessment and delivering quantifiable and qualifiable outcomes to improve student affairs practice proved to be an asset to NASPA Region II’s efforts in advancing membership engagement and resources.
